One of the thoughts that I had when the C language started to emerge and the possibility of dynamic graphics began to be realised was how wonderful it would be to develop a dynamic school book where a child could press on part of a sum and be lead into an animated world which they could explore at their own pace, being guided by a more experienced fellow traveller. It has taken a long time for this possibility to mature but now the technology is there. However this modern technology on it's own is not enough, for that we have drawn on two other sources, the first being vedic mathematics of India, credited with the invention of zero, and a lot of other mathematical devices, the other source is the genius of Ireland, our dúchas, our deep inner intelligence. The story of how we integrated these approaches is being told on another blog, which is not yet ready for publication.
